Frequently Asked Questions

  • Reformer Pilates supports strength, mobility, balance and postural alignment through controlled, low-impact movement. Adjusting the spring-based resistance makes an exercise feel more supported or more challenging, to suit your goals, and aims to build strength without unnecessary strain on the joints.

As a form of functional fitness, the practice strengthens the deep muscles that support efficient, balanced movement. In addition, many clients experience a subtle sense of restoration and clarity after a session.

  • Consistency is key to experiencing the full benefits of Pilates. Many clients find that one session per week supports steady progress, while others choose to attend more frequently depending on their goals and availability. Rasheeda is happy to have a conversation about what may work best for you.
